My name is Jody Johnson-Schiller. I am a Master Educator and the Clinic Floor Supervisor at the State College of Beauty Culture.

It was always goal of mine to pursue a career in the cosmetology field. I have always enjoyed helping others look and feel good about themselves. After several years of acquiring work and life skills, outside of this industry, I am proud to say that I attended and graduated from S.C.B.C. in 2000 and officially became part of this industry.

I was fortunate to work as a stylist at Looks Unlimited in Merrill for five years before being offered a position as an instructor here in the summer of 2005. After becoming a licensed barber/cosmetology instructor that fall, I decided to focus my career on teaching. I became a Master Educator in 2007 after completing a series of educational courses. I will become an Advanced Master Educator in 2011, as I continue to enhance my teaching and supervising abilities through continuous learning. I also became Clinic Floor Supervisor in the beginning of 2010.

I am very passionate about teaching and learning. My positions here allow me to help others find their way in this wonderful industry, and in life. You can make your dreams come true if; you believe in and respect yourself, respect others, work hard, and learn from your mistakes. If I can do it, anyone can!
