The cosmetology course is an 1550 hour full-time course. Students attend 35 hours a week for 45 weeks.

If you are looking for a rewarding career in skin care where the sky is the limit then the esthiology training course is just for you!

Students in our esthetician program attend 32 hours a week for 19 weeks. Esthiology courses start two times a year. The State of Wisconsin requires 450 hours for Esthetics. State College of Beauty Culture requires 600 hours in order to ensure a basic competency and understanding of all aspects of esthiology.

Did you know that once you receive your cosmetology license you are only licensed to practice in the state in which you received your license?

In order to be able to work in other states you must obtain a reciprocity license. A Reciprocity license allows you the ability to work in another state along with the state  you are currently licensed in. However not all states accept a reciprocity license and may require different state licensing.

YOU MUST BE REGISTERED 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE CLASS.

COURSE INFORMATION

  • This 1 hour course will meet all your requirements necessary to apply for your license. The course will consist of current WI state laws.
  • A Wisconsin licensed instructor from the State College of Beauty will instruct.
  • $50.00 includes certificate of completion for 1 hour Wisconsin Reciprocity Law Class and materials.
  • Bring your driver’s license, pen, pencil, and highlighters.
